love, laughter & legal paperwork
As you explore our website, take a listen to the song that we'll be dancing to for the rest of our lives. While our wedding may not follow tradition, if it did, this would have been our first dance.
Welcome to our wedding website - we're so glad you're here. After years of threatening to make it official, we're finally doing the thing!
Think of this as your wedding day survival guide.
Here you'll find:

And some stories we thought were worth sharing.
David & Jason, two people who somehow made it through life, moving into and out of the very same complex just two weeks apart before they'd even met, being forced to live together when COVID arrived early into their relationship, and occasional chaos - and still ended up here.
We're excited (and mildly in disbelief) to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love the most.
important people on the day
These incredible women have been an irreplaceable part of our lives and journey together. They have supported us through every chapter, celebrated every milestone, and stood firmly in our corner when we needed them most. We are so grateful to have them by our side on this special day. Life simply wouldn't be the same without them.
LouiSe
Officiant
Jason and Louise have been best friends since 2006 and have been inseparable ever since. A lawyer by profession and a fierce defender of those she loves, Louise has always been one of Jason's biggest supporters. She is quite possibly the most amazing person with the funniest sense of humour. When David came along, he received Louise's stamp of approval immediately - quite literally!
NordikA
Best Woman
David's beautiful sister, Nordika has spent a lifetime looking out for him. Taking on something of a second motherly role, she helped ensure that David survived childhood despite his apparent determination to test the edibility of absolutely everything. She had the pleasure (and occasional challenge) of having "Stertjie" as her little brother all her life, no sings of changing.
MoraG
Best Woman
Morag has been part of Jason's life for many years and the two bonded almost instantly over Aqua, brandies, and a shared talent for causing mischief. Anyone who knows them will tell you that when Jason and Morag are together, it's best to keep your wits about you - because absolutely no one is safe from their antics. The two of them will be forever in sync with one another.
Zea-DiNE
On-The-Day-Contact
Zay, as we know and love graciously entered David and Jason's lives not long after she became a part of Morag's. From the very beginning, she brought a wonderful sense of balance to the Golden Girls group. She and David are very much on the same wavelength - especially when it comes to their impressively early bedtimes! Beyond her calm and caring nature, Zay has an incredible gift to crack a joke at exactly the right moment.
Charmaine was the kind of mother any child would be blessed to have. She was loyal, funny, caring, and full of wisdom, with a calming presence that made those around her feel safe and loved. To David, she was not only his mother, but someone whose love, humour, and strength shaped so much of who he is today.
Although Charmaine is deeply missed on this special day, her presence lives on in the love, memories, and stories carried by her family. In the words of one of her favourites, Bruce Springsteen, "Baby, I'm tougher than the rest" - a line that speaks beautifully to the strength with which she lived and loved. Today, we honour her memory, and her love remains part of this celebration.
